English Communication Skills

As English is the most widely spoken language in the world, mastering it is essential for building a successful career. This course is designed to help every Open Sky Aviation student communicate effectively and confidently in English. The curriculum covers key topics such as grammar fundamentals, salutations and farewells, appointment-making, and reaching mutual conclusions in conversations.

Each lesson is highly interactive, enabling students to continuously develop their language proficiency while understanding the principles of clear and effective communication. The primary objective of this course is to enhance pronunciation, enunciation, and fluency. Through engaging activities, discussions, and group sessions, students gain the communication skills and confidence needed to excel in interviews and professional environments.

Personality Development

Personality development refers to the enduring patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior that make each individual unique. This engaging module helps students shape a confident and well-balanced personality suited for a professional environment. The course focuses on building a positive attitude, managing anger and stress, enhancing motivation and perception, and developing empathy and emotional intelligence.

Grooming

This module provides comprehensive training in the essential skills required for success in customer service industries. It covers key topics such as skin and hair care, personal hygiene, formal dressing, dental care, and professional makeup techniques. The focus is on developing a well-groomed and polished appearance that reflects confidence and professionalism in every interaction.

Aviation Security

The Aviation Security module introduces students to the fundamental principles of aviation safety and security. It provides an understanding of the roles played by key regulatory bodies such as the DGCA, ICAO, BCAS, and IATA in maintaining global aviation standards. This module equips Air Hostess with the skills to maintain a secure environment on board. It covers threat detection, including suspicious behaviour and unclaimed baggage, as well as responding to security scenarios such as hijackings, bomb threats, or unruly passengers. Trainees learn emergency protocols, coordination with security personnel, Fire Fighting and professional passenger management to ensure safety and calm during any security situation. Emphasis is placed on developing strong security awareness and preventive practices to ensure a safe and compliant aviation environment.

Safety and Emergency Procedures

The Safety and Emergency Procedures module covers essential aspects of airline operations, focusing on maintaining the highest standards of safety and preparedness. Students learn about airline safety standards and emergency procedures, along with the correct operation of safety and emergency equipment. The course includes practical training in firefighting, evacuations, and ditching (water landing) drills. It also emphasizes first aid and medical emergency response, as well as handling decompression and turbulence situations. Additionally, students are trained in effective teamwork and passenger assistance during in-flight emergencies.
