Eligibility for Indian students

Age Education Medical
17 Years and above Minimum 12th Pass Medically and Physically Fit

Eligibility for foreign Students

Age Education Medical
17 Years and above Minimum 10th Pass (English Mandatory) Medically and Physically Fit

Requirements

  • General Radio License
  • Minimum of 200 hours of total flying time
  • Including 100 hours as Pilot in Command & 20 hours cross country flying (hour building)
  • 10 hours of night flying (night rating)
  • 1x day 300nm cross country flight with at least 2 landings
  • 1x night 150nm triangular cross-country flight
  • Theoretical Exams by CAA (8 subjects)
  • Flight test with a Designated Examiner

Training Structure

The CPL training includes both theoretical and practical components. The theoretical component covers topics such as meteorology, flight planning, radio aids, navigation, instruments, air law and procedures, human performance, and aircraft technical and general. The practical component includes flight training with an instructor and solo flight training.

You can typically obtain your CPL in 12-18 months, depending on your availability and progress.

Requirements

  • Age not less than 18 years
  • CAASL Class I Medical Certificate
  • Course Completion Letter from CAASL approved Flying School as per IS 72
  • CPL/ATPL Theory examination completion result sheet issued by CAASL
  • Flying experience as per IS 72 Appendix 3
  • Flight Instructions as per IS 72
  • English Language Proficiency. (ELPC Level 4 or higher)
  • Skill test report
